We had to visit this place as my husband’s grandfather was the head of a Mason chapter and all of his uncles & his father were Masons. The Blacksmith Building at the Mount Vernon Compound

I cut a paper from DCWV Steampunk Botanical in half vertically and placed the pieces on either side of a sheet of paper from Paper Studio Sunbeam Meadow. I then added a hammer, a lamp, an anvil & a wheel from Cricut’s Old West cartridge.  The horseshoes are from CTMH Artistry. The font is Annie Leu.

The Gardens at Mount Vernon

I love all the images on this page. They are from a newer cartridge in Cricut Access called Nature Babies. The font for the title is Baylac. The dark green accents are made with a Fiskars punch called Running In Circles. The DS background is from Anna’s Ribbons & Bows.

Cobbler’s House & Stove Room

The stove room fireplace provided heat for the greenhouse. The title “Cobbler” is from the Cricut cartridge Preserves. The shoes are from Heel to Toe, Suburbia and Heritage. The shoe outlines are from Bowling Icons. The fireplace is from Christmas Cheer and the flowerpot border is from Wall Decor & More.
